Coffee is the UK's favourite on-the-go drink. Everyone can relate to the hustle of a busy coffee shop, people queuing for a drink on their way to work, noses buried in their phones. As an Ethiopian, my relationship with coffee is completely different. 

 

Coffee in Ethiopia is more than just a drink. Ethiopian coffee and its associated ceremonies are an essential part of our culture and a way we catch up with friends, welcome guests and build relationships.
